Property Scope

Franklin, NH – June 4, 2026 – When The Lemieux Group acquired this classic multi-family at 186 West Bow Street, the building showed its nearly 130 years of age. The unit we renovated suffered from long-term deferred maintenance: a damp basement with damaged beams, joists, and temporary supports; sagging and unlevel floors; outdated windows; worn bathrooms and kitchen; and aging mechanical systems. What stood was a solid but tired duplex that needed a complete reset.

We treated the project as a full gut renovation. Structural supports were reinforced in the basement and new subfloors installed throughout. The bathroom was enlarged and completely rebuilt with new fixtures and finishes. A modern kitchen was created from the studs up—cabinets, counters, appliances, and plumbing. Ten new windows, fresh drywall, flooring, paint, doors, trim, and staircases transformed the interior, while a new high-efficiency furnace and water heater brought the mechanical systems up to current standards. The result is essentially a brand-new apartment inside a historic Franklin building—bright, solid, efficient, and ready for its next chapter.
